coffee and tea equipment specialist
ESPRO (www.espro.ca) is a coffee and tea equipment innovator located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
We are currently looking for a few Vancouver-based people to join our sales team. We are reinventing the way coffee and tea are made in homes, shops, hotels and restaurants. Most of the methods we are working on have not been touched in 50+ years. Everything we do is reinvented from the bottom-up, engineered with precision, and manufactured with quality. Every consumer gets our full support -- after all it is their hard-earned money that pays the bills.
You’re already a beverage enthusiast, so why not take your career global with one of the very few specialist gear shops in the business? ESPRO partners with our retailers and distributors, and advises the shops, restaurants and hotels that use our gear. We help retailers reassess their assortments and improve their profitability. And we spread the idea that coffee and tea should be sourced with knowledge, brewed in gear that really works, and served with respect. (It helps that our gear does really work!) Along the way, we place our gear with partners where it makes sense. And we train them to sell and use it to serve coffees and teas with respect and knowledge.

You’re a mature, outgoing, self-starter who is passionate about coffee or tea. You’re disciplined, responsible and performance oriented. You thrive in a small-team of people that depend on each other, and keep commitments. You’re excited to be on the ground floor of a growing global brand. You have experience as either a manager of a coffee or tea shop, or you’re an accomplished barista, service tech and/or roaster. An understanding of brewing equipment is a bonus and the ability to present and profile coffees and teas is also very helpful.
Your day will spent meeting and connecting with people just like you. You will support enthusiast retail buyers, cafes, hotels and restaurants in selecting and supporting their brewing equipment. You need to have excellent English written and verbal communication skills, and be confident to present proposals to potential partners. You are very computer savvy. You are friendly, organized and have a demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, based on clear performance metrics.
You don’t mind traveling to global events and trade shows, and mixing with the awesome leaders within the coffee and tea community.
You will be paid a salary plus commissions for meeting and exceeding sales targets, commensurate with experience. We reimburse all business expenses including transport.
