Protecting and preserving your ESPRO double microfilters

Let’s take a quick minute to acknowledge that regardless of whatever relationship one has with coffee, it’s an integral part of life. For coffee drinkers who brew at home on the daily, the gear will require maintenance.

ESPRO Presses create some of the cleanest, best tasting French press coffee. Equipped with double microfilters that are nine and twelve times finer than the standard French press, the ESPRO press blocks grit from entering each cup, and stops the extraction process once fully pressed.

Because the ESPRO Press works hard for each cup of grit free coffee, care is a must to preserve the filter. To keep the double microfilters performing optimally, wash both filters thoroughly after each use with soap and water. Gently scrub the mesh, removing all visible grit (we recommend using a soft brush or sponge).

For long term maintenance, the ESPRO Deep Clean solution will rid the filters of any stale oils and extra fine coffee particles left over from previous use. Place the filters in 500 ml of warm water and mix in 1 tablespoon of Deep Clean. Soak for 30 minutes and the filters will be ready for the next month of brews.

Try it and taste the difference!
